Empowering Innovation: Government of Canada Invests $25 Million in AI and Tech Businesses in the GTHA
The Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area (GTHA) has long been recognized as a hub of innovation, driven by a thriving ecosystem of tech talent, startups, and industry leaders. This vibrant region continues to lead advancements in artificial intelligence (AI), digital media, and advanced manufacturing — pushing the boundaries of what’s possible and keeping Canada at the forefront of global technology development.
TCE Group (founder of 2MDOpinion) is honored to be part of this movement and excited to share the Government of Canada’s announcement of over $25 million in funding for 18 growing AI and tech companies in the GTHA. This investment, delivered by the Federal Economic Development Agency for Southern Ontario (FedDev Ontario), will help these selected businesses scale up, commercialize innovative products, and strengthen Canada’s position in healthcare and the global tech landscape.
